Our adventure to the amusement park....I mean...Mall

So, we decided to go walk around the mall last Friday night for something to do. Drew and I had gone the night before, but hadn't made it around the whole mall nor did we do much. I thought it would be a fun, inexpensive night out! We ate when we got there at Chick-Fil-A because Kyle loves it! Well, they had their mascot out walking around. It is a giant cow and I thought Drew might be a little afraid....but...he proved me wrong! He was standing on his chair while eating yelling out, "HI COW!!" and waving! It was rather cute! Our mall has a carousel and so we decided to let Drew have a ride...He loved it!

Here he is just waiting for it to start.

This is when the bell rang letting us know it was about to begin.

Going around and around! Mommy had to stay still or I would have lost my balance. Center of gravity is a little off!

The ride is all done....he was bummed.

Our mall also has one of those indoor playgrounds for little kids...it's a great little breaktime for the parents and the kids!

He loved the slide and pretending to be a monkey in the tree.

The bridge to climb over.

The tent to climb under.

Next, we had always talked about doing Build-A-Bears for the boys and letting Drew help us make one for Blake. Since our mall has one...we did it!

Drew picked out a dog for himself and a bear for Blake.

He kissed the hearts for both animals and put them in, but wouldn't touch the pedal to help stuff them...we think it was too loud.

Here is the finished product. Wags the Dog (with a guitar) and Boilermaker Bear for Blake.
Afterwards Drew wanted to walk all by himself and carry his Wags in the house. It thought it was so cute that he was dragging it!
At the end of the night we let him play in some of the riding toys...he liked the Bob the Builder truck.
It was a fun night had by all! Drew made out like a bandit with a Wags the Dog and a new Purdue hat (a steal for less than $5) and he got to play on the toys and playground! Mommy and Daddy ended the evening with a nice drive through Starbucks! Yummy!!

More of the Drew Man

We have been taking more pictures lately....I am just doing a horrible job of getting them up here....So, here you are!

This is Drew and Daddy before Goody's wedding. Goody is Daddy's good friend from college. It was Drew's 2nd wedding. His first one was Kari and Don's and he was only 6 months old...he did WAY better at Kari and Don's! Luckily the church had a cry room so he got to play in there while Mommy tried to watch the wedding.

Last night at dinner we had eggs, bacon, and cinnamon toast. He spit out the eggs, but love the bacon and toast. As you can tell on his face covered in butter and cinnamon and sugar!

Bacon anyone??

My brother, John, taught Drew how to do the Heisman pose and this is his version.

Always playing his guitar!!

Here is Mommy and Blake at 28 weeks and 3 days!

Drew and I also went to the library the other day and borrowed the latest Wiggles DVD. He LOVES it!!!

Beware Captain Feathersword...Drew might just take your job!

Cheeseball anyone??

Two in One Day...WOW!!

Okay, so this is my second post today....make sure to check out the one of our house below this one! These are just some recent ones of the weekend!

Daddy and Drew watching some toons.

Some very serious toons I guess...haha!

Mommy got a hankering for chocolate chip cookies, so Drew helped!

He was happy because I let him eat some chocolate chips while he was helping!

A very tired mommy and a very sunburnt daddy!

Our Home

Hello all! Well, I have been promising some pictures of our house and so here they are!

Here is the living room looking from right inside the front door.

This is the living room looking from the hallway.

The back wall of the living room (my cedar chest is below the picture and shelf--I can finally display it...I am so happy!)

Front of the house!

Backyard..it's fenced in and sooo nice!

I will be posting more as the rooms get done...the kitchen will probably be next!

What a Feeling

So, I am sitting here at the computer just a wasting time. My 2-year old (who I like to call "the beast" sometimes) is playing ever so nicely with his truck next to me. He created a ramp for it with a lid to a tub and he is making it do "fips" (flips). He keeps saying, "Mommy, wat me!" (Mommy watch me!) and sometimes he wants me to watch so much that I stop watching. This makes me a little sad because there will come a day when he really does want me to stop watching. I pray that day is far away.

My other little one just moves around like crazy. He is all over the place. Kyle always wants me to describe what it feels like to have Blake moving around and unfortunately I can't tell him. The feeling is indescribable. It has to be one of my favorite parts of being pregnant. I also love to watch my shirt jump as he jumps around. Sometimes I think he is already trying to keep up with Drew as Drew runs around so much! Boy...am I going to have my hands full, but boy am I one blessed Mommy.

Our Move and The Wiggles!!!

For those of you who may not know, we have moved from Waukesha, WI to Ft. Wayne, IN. Kyle took a youth ministry position at Christ's Church at Georgetown and started there this past Monday. We miss our friends in Wisconsin dearly, but we are settling in and making friends here in IN. When our house is less cluttered with boxes, we'll post some pictures on here so you can virtually see our house.

As most of you know, Drew is a BIG fan of The Wiggles. We found out they were going to be in concert here in Ft. Wayne so we bought tickets and last night was the show. Drew did amazing at the show. He sat there in awe of what was happening. He loved it. Here are some pictures from the show. We had great seats. We were 10 rows off the stage and to the left.
