Donuts with Daddy

So, while I was at work one day I received a picture message on my cell phone. One of the following pictures was what I received.

My cool dude.....sort of

So, I found these shades in a drawer in Drew's room. We had bought them for him last year, but they were too big...now they fit! So, I put them on him and they make him so cool. In spite of the fingers in his mouth and the chocolate on his face I couldn't find a cooler dude in the bunch. Have I said lately how much I LOVE being this little guy's mommy. Even though he gets me up in the middle of the night (sometimes) and is coming into his terrible two's so quickly...it still lightens up my day and brighten's my heart to feel his little arms around my neck squeazing me for a hug and the little slobbery kisses he gives! I am so lucky!!!

A fun day at the zoo...

We decided to go to the zoo one Friday because we were both off work. We have a zoo pass, so why not. The weather called for rain, but only a 30% chance. So...let's go to the zoo!

Drew liked these "gigis" (fish). They were little.

He did not like the bigger fish and would not walk up the glass on his own. So, Mommy helped out!

They had this little statue by all the monkeys and we thought it would be fun to take a picture of both little monkeys!

This cheetah is always pacing. Drew's little eyes kept following him back and forth.

This is Drew and Daddy looking at the elephants. He (Drew) didn't really like them until we were further away.

Drew kept saying "hi" to all the animals and he especially like the bears.

So, at the end of the day we went to get Drew a souvenier. We got him a shirt with a monkey on it that says Caution: Wild Child. We thought it was rather appropriate! Remember the 30% chance of rain?? While we were paying for the shirt, it cut loose! It was POURING!! So, after waiting a few minutes we decided to make a break for it! We had umbrellas so the only thing that got wet was Drew's stroller and the bottom half of mommy and Daddy! By the time we got back to Waukesha, it was sunny and gorgeous! We had a good time, though, and saw everything we wanted to in that trip. Next time we will take our time and go on a day with NO chance of rain!

A Day at the Park with Friends!

So, we were blessed with a beautiful day when my college roommate, Breanne, came to visit so we went to the park!

Drew has become completely unafraid of the playground.

He calls the slides "weee", therefore the whole playground is the "weee".

He warmed up to Breanne really quickly (even though she's a cardinal's fan). He must know what an awesome friend she is!

So after much delay we finally have a new post with LOTS of pictures. I will probably add them a little at a time so no one misses anything! So, for today here are some pictures of our new bubble machine! I love it because there are non stop bubbles and I don't have to do any work! Haha! Drew likes to say, "pop pop pop" while he is popping them.....soooo cute!

Like Father, Like Son

So apparently Drew has been watching his father too much! The other day this is what he was doing...

Hey, it was a Sports Illustrated and it was the Brett Farve issue. What can I say? This boy's a cheesehead! Haha! On another note we were able to take Drew down to the park last Saturday! It was FINALLY warm enough to do it. We were also watching Haley and Emma (the twins I used to nanny for) so they came with us too!

Drew immediately went right for the slide. He loves them.

Something new....

So, we have just recently found out that we are pregnant with our second child! We are so excited for November 24th!!!! That means we are 6 weeks along so far and so far so good. I have been feeling pretty good, just TIRED!!! We were able to get an early ultrasound done, just like we did for Drew! So, here is the little peanut! 3 milimeters long!
