Getting closer

So, we had a LONG weekend this past weekend getting the boys' rooms ready. We set up Drew's big boy bed and we got Blake's room organized and all the laundry done. The crib is also set up for a infant again instead of a 2-year-old! Kyle and I even bought our first package of newborn diapers! They are SO small compared to Drew's and I know when Blake comes that Drew will look like a giant! Sunday after church and lunch, Drew and I were snuggling before naptime and apparently we were more tired than we thought! We both dozed off and so Kyle snapped a cute shot of us!

We are officially 36 weeks and 1 day today! We made it past how far I was when Drew decided to join us...so now the waiting game officially begins! Kyle is so cute because he keeps asking me..."Are you okay?"

We will keep everyone posted....we have a doctor appointment tomorrow, so maybe an update then!

Pumpkin Carving

This weekend we had some visitors come to help us organize Blake's room and get Drew's big boy bed set up! Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Kinsey, and Uncle Cody came up and we were VERY busy getting things ready! I hope to have some pictures of the boys' rooms posted sometime this week! On Saturday night we were able to do some pumpkin carving. Drew liked watching, but didn't do much helping! He kept saying, "Eww yucky." But he loved the outcome!

Cody, Kinsey, Drew, and Grandma were scooping out the guys. Mommy is going through the guts to get the seeds out so they can be toasted....yummy!

The Wedding Weekend!

So, we got through the wedding weekend without any major issues! It was a lovely ceremony and a fun reception as well! Drew did better than anticipated, but boy was I tired by the end of the day! Here are a few pictures from the day (a little out of order).

This is Drew striking a pose on the dance floor....he was running around dancing, doing karate, doing what he does and then just stopped like this for what seemed like forever. Then everyone was watching him...so he didn't want to move. It was so cute!

He basically just galloped and ran around the dance floor! He fell asleep on the way to the reception and slept in Grandpa's arms and was so funny when he woke up. He just kept looking around like, "where in the world am I?" After awhile he perked up and joined everyone dancing!
This is at the church after the wedding after my bro and his wife (whoa, weird) had gotten into the limo. At this point he was basically done...he was tired and didn't want to be told what to do anymore. Unfortunately we had a few more pictures left to take. I am sure that they will NOT be good, but a good memory for sure!

This is the best part! The biggest deal was "will Drew go down the aisle?" Well, the wedding was at 1:00 which is usually Drew's naptime, so I was worried he would be crabby. He did really good until about 12:40 and then he began to meltdown...but....then right before it was time to walk down the aisle he perked up. Also...the flower girl fell asleep so Drew was still on the up and up! We got to the end of the aisle (Kyle married them) and I just said to Drew "take the pillow to daddy". He hesitated for a minute and then in typical Drew style he RAN down the aisle with the pillow and when he got to Kyle said, "here Daddy". He was ever so cute in his little tux and he did wonderful!!!!

Busy Busy!

I know...it's been awhile since I have blogged, but we have been SUPER busy! The weekend before last Drew and I spent in Brookston. I went for my future sister-in-laws bridal shower and Drew came because Kyle had a lot of work that weekend. Plus, we (Kyle and I) went to Georgia for the Catalyst Conference on the 8th-10th, so Drew got to spend A LOT of time with Mamaw, Papaw, Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunts and Uncles! We got him back on Sunday and have been loving on him extra since we missed him so much while we were apart!

Now this weekend is my brother, Matt's, wedding so we leave for Brookston again on Thursday and won't be back till Sunday. Kyle will come back Saturday because he has to preach at church on Sunday!

Obviously things have been super busy! I am offically 34 weeks and 1 day today! So we are getting closer to Blake's arrival! I can't believe he'll be here soon! I feel like this pregnancy has flown by! I am feeling good, although I get tired VERY easily and all the travel has made the "cankles" return so I try to get my feet up in the afternoons and evenings for a bit!! He is moving around like crazy all the time!
