What a Feeling

So, I am sitting here at the computer just a wasting time. My 2-year old (who I like to call "the beast" sometimes) is playing ever so nicely with his truck next to me. He created a ramp for it with a lid to a tub and he is making it do "fips" (flips). He keeps saying, "Mommy, wat me!" (Mommy watch me!) and sometimes he wants me to watch so much that I stop watching. This makes me a little sad because there will come a day when he really does want me to stop watching. I pray that day is far away.

My other little one just moves around like crazy. He is all over the place. Kyle always wants me to describe what it feels like to have Blake moving around and unfortunately I can't tell him. The feeling is indescribable. It has to be one of my favorite parts of being pregnant. I also love to watch my shirt jump as he jumps around. Sometimes I think he is already trying to keep up with Drew as Drew runs around so much! Boy...am I going to have my hands full, but boy am I one blessed Mommy.

Our Move and The Wiggles!!!

For those of you who may not know, we have moved from Waukesha, WI to Ft. Wayne, IN. Kyle took a youth ministry position at Christ's Church at Georgetown and started there this past Monday. We miss our friends in Wisconsin dearly, but we are settling in and making friends here in IN. When our house is less cluttered with boxes, we'll post some pictures on here so you can virtually see our house.

As most of you know, Drew is a BIG fan of The Wiggles. We found out they were going to be in concert here in Ft. Wayne so we bought tickets and last night was the show. Drew did amazing at the show. He sat there in awe of what was happening. He loved it. Here are some pictures from the show. We had great seats. We were 10 rows off the stage and to the left.

Some updates

Just a small update on what has been happening here! These are some pictures of the Father's Day present that Drew got Kyle. Drew is quite the ham as you can tell!

Kyle and Drew being crazy!

This is after a long morning of playing!

In other news.....Kyle has recently taken a new job! So, the Turners are moving to Fort Wayne, IN. Kyle will be the student minister at Christ's Church at Georgetown. Although we are sad to leave this place that we have called home for 4 years, we are excited about what God has in store for us in Fort Wayne.
Also, thanks to our friends, Kari and Don, Drew is no longer reliant on his plug (pacifer). We are super excited that he is turning into more of a big boy and he is able to talk better now and really tell us how he feels. Haha!

New Baby Update

So, we had our ultrasound Monday and found out that...

It's a Boy!!!

We are super excited for November to get here so we can welcome Blake Joseph Turner into the world! The ultrasound went wonderfully and everything looks great! He did measure a week ahead of 19 weeks, but the doctor said that it's normal and we'll keep the original due date! We took Drew in with us and he just kept saying, "Baby!" the whole time! It was so sweet! They are going to make quite the pair! The following are a few pictures of our little guy!

Too Long (again)

Hello to all! I am sorry for the lack of posting we have been extremely busy! We are looking forward to next weekend as our family and friends join us for Drew's SECOND birthday!! I cannot believe that he is already going to be two!!! We are going to have an Elmo party so there will be pictures to come!

In other news...our other child (hanging out in the womb) loves to kick his/her mommy right as soon as I lay down for the night. The other night I guess it was time to do the cha cha or samba on my bladder because I immediately had to get up and go potty. Kyle wanted to see if he could feel the baby so I told him he could try, but I didn't think it was that strong yet, but.....HE DID!! He was so excited! We have our ultrasound on Monday and hoping the baby cooperates we will find out if it is a he or a she!!! I won't be blogging about it till after next weekend because we will be sharing the news with our families then! Sorry all! But be looking for it after then!

We have had a crazy week and a half! We were in Indiana during Memorial Day weekend for lots of graduations and then were back this past weekend for my brother's open house! During the in between time we left Drew with his grandparents and boy did he have a blast! It is awesome to have him back home, though! It was sure weird without him!!

Below are some pictures from John's open house!

All the crazy dancing going on!! Haha! Even my dad....who knew!

These are the DJ's! They just started a new business....book them for your party! They are Brittany (Joey's gf), Joey, Jamie, and Colby!!

Joey, John, and Kyle dancing to "Jump On It".....probably the funniest of the day!

Baseball With Daddy

Sunday after getting back home from Indiana, Daddy and Drew went outside to play some baseball. Mommy went out and took pictures of her boys playing America's Greatest Game. At 2 he's already a good hitter. Mommy was able to capture one of his hits on camera. Enjoy.

Daddy pitching to his lil' slugger...

What a hit...Way to go Drew!

You have to drop the bat then run Drew...

What a stud...

He could be a switch hitter...We'll have to see...Nice follow through.
